Faith in Every Stitch: My Journey to Share God’s Love

MBY started with a nudge from God.

Okay—more like a shove.

Hi new friends, I’m Yenisey-- but you can call me Yen! I’m the heart, hands, and slightly sleep-deprived brain behind Made by Yen, a brand created to help you wear your faith and spark real conversations about Jesus.

It all began when God kept pressing on my heart to use my creativity for His kingdom. At first, I missed it—I launched a swimsuit line (yep, true story). Then I pivoted to designing art for other small shops—things they could put on cups, tees, and more. It felt closer, but I knew deep down it still wasn’t it.

After a lot of prayer, surrender, and those “okay God, I’m listening now” moments, I finally understood the mission: use the gifts He gave me to create designs that represent Him. Pieces that make sharing your faith feel as easy and natural as getting dressed.

The hardest part? Just figuring out what God wanted me to do with this. There were detours, doubts, and dramatic “what am I doing?!” moments—but now, I finally feel aligned with His purpose.

I’ve loved art and design for as long as I can remember, and blending that with my faith just clicks. My dream? To see Made by Yen all over the world—not just because it looks good (which it does)—but because every piece has the power to point people to Jesus.

That’s the mission: Make Him known, one conversation at a time.

📖 Proverbs 16:3 – “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
📖 Psalm 96:2–3 – “Sing to the Lord, praise His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.”
