About Made by Yen – A Faith-Based Brand on a Mission to Make Jesus Known

MBY started with a nudge from God.

Okay—more like a shove.

Hi new friends, I’m Yenisey—but you can call me Yeni! I’m the heart, hands, and slightly sleep-deprived brain behind Made by Yen, a brand born from obedience, creativity, and a whole lot of refining fire.

Funny enough, the name “Made by Yen” came from a swimsuit line I launched in the beginning. That was my plan: something cute, handmade, and summer-ready. But God had bigger things in mind. Kingdom things.

After the swimsuit chapter, I pivoted into designing art for other small shops—mockups and graphics they could use on cups, tees, and more. I was pouring myself into it, but deep down I still knew it wasn’t the mission God was calling me to.

Then, the doors started closing—fast.
Some of my designs were getting stolen.
And when I started drawing TM characters (without fully understanding the legal lines), my Etsy shop was shut down.

I was crushed. Confused. Questioning everything.
But God was just getting started.

Through all of that, He was stripping away my plans to make room for His. And that’s when everything shifted. When I finally said, “Okay God, I’ll do it Your way,” He showed me the real assignment:
Create bold, faith-filled designs that spark conversations and make Jesus known.

Made by Yen became more than a name. It became a mission.

Now, everything I design is rooted in purpose—to help believers wear their faith boldly and carry the Gospel into everyday spaces. This brand is for the seed planters, the faith-sharers, the Kingdom builders who want their clothes to speak before they do.

And here's the best part:
Not only do I get to create pieces that glorify God, but I also get to share this space with other faith-filled creatives. Supporting and uplifting brothers and sisters in Christ who design with purpose, too is a huge part of what MBY is about. This is community, not competition. And together, we’re covering the world in conversation-starting, faith-filled art.

And in 2025? We took it a step further.
We bought a bus. Not just any bus—the Armor of God Bus.

It’s a mobile boutique—a traveling testimony on wheels. One market at a time, one city at a time—we’re taking the Gospel to the streets. Because church isn’t just a building. The mission moves wherever we do.

This mission is simple:

Make Him known—one design, one conversation, one soul at a time.

Two verses that keep me grounded:
📖 Proverbs 16:3 – “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
📖 Psalm 96:2–3 – “Sing to the Lord, praise His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.”
