LA HAVANA

This beauty is made with not only Eco-Fabric but also Eco-Ink - These Malanga leaves drawing is my hand-drawn version of this beautiful plant found in Cuba as well as DR, Haiti and Central America. Malanga is a root Vegetable known as "Elephant Ears" and recognized for both its ornamental value and its edible cormel. 

Named after: Old Havana ( La Habana Vieja) is the city center (downtown) and one of the 15 municipalities (or boroughs) forming Havana, Cuba. It has the second-highest population density in the city and contains the core of the original city of Havana. The positions of the original Havana city walls are the modern boundaries of Old Havana. Old Havana is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
